The landscape installation process may be unfamiliar to some people.
Steps
Step one will involve gathering ideas for the type of yard that fits your needs and desires. These ideas can be found in other people’s yards (neighbors, family, etc.), or even from yards that you may have had in the past. This may not be an option for some people that need some professional advice. This is why we offer three basic packages for customers to choose from, or even custom packages to suite your needs.
Once you have a good idea of what type of yard you are looking for you will need to setup an appointment. This will give you a chance to meet the contractor that will be doing the work, and gather additional input on your yards specific requirements. In order for your yard to be properly setup a contractor will need to gather the correct measurements, grade information and water/power sources. This data will allow the contractor to give you a realistic quote for your landscaping.
After you have chosen the options for your landscaping, with the contractor’s help, it will be time to start the project. The time frame of events can generally be determined prior to commencement. The steps usually go as follows:
 |
1. Irrigation and landscape lighting are generally the first to be installed (assuming the proper drainage and grading has been done in your yard). The pipes and wires can be properly placed without interfering with new hardscape that may be part of the design. This will also make ready for the new plants and/or grass that will be installed. |
