Warranty Agreement
The following is a description of issues that are covered under warranty:
Plants will be covered against death only as a result of the following;
- Transplant shock or disease for a period of forty-five days from the time they are planted. Plants may loose foliage as a result of transplant shock, but they must be given sufficient time to recover with proper caring as instructed by a company representative.
- Disease may also be cured in some cases.
Sod will be covered against death only as a result of the following;
- Transplant shock or disease for a period of forty-five days from the time it was planted. Minor discoloration or dryness may occur.
Irrigation systems and Lighting installed or repaired will be covered as follows;
- Parts and workmanship installed only by a company representative for a period of one year. The warranty will only cover defective parts and faulty workmanship under proper working conditions.
The following is a description of issues that are not covered under warranty and may lead to a void of the warranty:
Plants death as result of the following;
- Severe weather conditions (wind, hail, snow, extreme heat, frost, etc.) will not be covered.
- Failure to follow proper water or fertilization instruction (written or verbal) given by a company representative. This includes improper adjustments made to water timers.
- Plants that are placed in areas with an improper or uncontrollable water source will not be covered. (Poor soil conditions including contaminants or insects are also not covered.)
Sod that dies as a result of the following;
- Severe weather conditions (wind, hail, snow, extreme heat, frost, etc.) will not be covered.
- Failure to follow proper water or fertilization instruction (written or verbal) given by a company representative.
- Sod that is placed in areas with an improper or uncontrollable water sources.
- Poor soil conditions including contaminants or insects are also not covered.
Irrigation and Lighting problems as a result of the following;
- Improper usage or repair work done by a non-company representative.
- Problems as a result of severe weather conditions (wind, hail, snow, extreme heat, frost, etc.).
- Accidental damage done by a non-company representative.
(Any of the above materials installed will not be covered due to pet or insect damage)
Sub-contracted work warranty issues must be dealt with through the company that performed the work. These companies information can be found by contacting the prime contractor used for the job. A $50 trip charge may apply for non-warranty repairs.
Each circumstance detailed on this form must be dealt with and determined by an authorized company representative. Failure to contact our company in a timely manner may result in a void of the warranty agreement. Warranties are subject to change without notice.
Acceptance of this description will be reflected with
the signature on the proposal and/or invoice provided.
